Silas Ramsbottom (Steve Coogan) of the Anti-Villain League returns along with Mr. Gru for his part also finds a master mentor to guide him the ways of crime.Īlthough Frenchman Pierre Coffin voices all the minions in a mix of French, Spanish, Minionese and more, I could swear the late Andy Kaufman has been revived to play one of them. She agrees to train them in the art of self-defense, however hopeless their fighting skills. It’s been 12 years since we first met Universal’s computer-animated super villain Gru (Steve Carell) and his banana-colored button-like, one-eyed and two-eyed, goggle-wearing minions named Bob, Stuart, Kevin, newbie Otto and more. But later after Gru was kidnapped, Otto decided to undo his mistake and make things right when he went after the biker who has the stone.Rated PG. Otto is described as chatty, easily distracted, and he loves his pet rock, which he traded for the zodiac stone. He also has a bigger weight size than all the other minions. He also has eight sprouts of hair, as well as having braces. Otto looks like Jerry, but he is a bit more rounder and chubbier. He is seen during Wild Knuckles' funeral as an angel, & later when Gru attempts to convince Dr. Once he does, he gets captured by Jean-Clawed as a baboon, then saved by Gru so that they may come down from the tower. During the final battle, he frees Gru from being tied up to the hands of a clock. Now that Otto has the stone, he rides a Chinese dragon to find Gru & give the stone to him, but the Vicious 6 capture Gru, while Otto takes cover. While outside, he then sees someone wearing the stone on his neck & goes after him, tracks him down, they both go on a trip to San Francisco, & part from there. The next day, Kevin, Stuart & Bob attempt to get answers from him about the stone's whereabouts, & confesses to whom he traded the stone to. He catches it eventually & lands at the birthday party where a pet stone is being traded, due to being fascinated into it, Otto trades the stone for the pet rock, leading to the Minions being fired. He tries pulling the stone out, but it ends up flying in the air. Otto grows attached on the way that he gets stuck on one of the laces & falls face first in some concrete. He gets his hands on the Zodiac Stone, which Gru entrusted him to return it to his lair. He rides on Gru's jetbike along with the rest of the Minions, but tumbles from it after accidentally driving into a staircase. He finds them eventually at Criminal Records. Later he appears when Kevin, Stuart, & Bob attempt to go after Gru, who's on his way to his interview with the Vicious 6, being distracted by Kevin into playing Hide-and-Seek. Otto first appears in the scene where Gru checks on his evil lair's progress when he tries to comfort him since he hasn't be accepted into the Vicious 6, though he blabbers so much that Gru distracts him into playing the Quiet Game.
